The first activity is to provide a short answer to each of the following questions. Be descriptive and write about the feelings associated with each answer.
What were you doing the last time you felt proud of yourself?
Have others expressed sincere gratitude for something you’ve done or provided?
What subjects do you search out in the library or on the internet?
How can your skills help the greatest number of people?
What were you doing when you felt “in the zone” and time passed quickly?
What topics do you find yourself talking about repeatedly?
What activities energize you and reduce your stress?
Do people seek you out for advice, and if so, what about?
What problems would you like to solve for people or society?
What legacy do you want to leave your family and society?
Why did you choose your current career or method of building income?
Some quick notes...
You can certainly add many questions to this list. The more questions you ask yourself, the greater the insight and better the outcomes. Simply brainstorming these questions and writing out your answers should reveal commonalities or patterns. After reviewing your answers to the above questions and identifying any common traits among the answers, utilize the Passion Priority worksheet to list 10-15 areas of interest as potential passion candidates. At the end of this exercise, you should have the passion candidate statements.
